Job Description:

 Position Summary:

The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors and answer incoming calls in a warm, pleasant and professional manner. The Receptionist also maintains a clean and neat reception area, handles specific customer services and seeks administrative support as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Possess and maintain knowledge of the facility, services provided, the customers, and employees.
  2. Answer incoming calls, both internally and externally, in a warm, pleasant and professional manner.
  3. Respond to all calls following proper telephone etiquette and taking detailed messages when appropriate.
  4. Ensure that messages are relayed promptly to the intended person.
  5. Greet all visitors and employees in a warm and helpful manner.
  6. Ensure that the reception areas are clean, neat and inviting.
  7. Offer refreshments to visitors and make them feel welcomed and comfortable.
  8. Provide other assistance with facility services as requested by supervisor.
  9. Responsible for daily mail and bank deposits.

 

 

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

 

  1. High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is preferred.
  2. One year receptionist experience preferred.
  3. Current TB skin test (if you do not have a current TB skin test, you can get one administered at the facility on your start date)
  4. Proof of the Influenza Vaccination (if you do not have proof, you can get one administered at the facility)

 

Physical Demands

This position may require constant standing/walking and repetitive motions, frequent bending/stooping, reaching, lifting/handling, pushing/pulling and occasional carrying. Weights may vary up to 10 pounds and the frequency of treatments may vary.
