Position Summary:
The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors and answer
incoming calls in a warm, pleasant and professional manner. The
Receptionist also maintains a clean and neat reception area, handles
specific customer services and seeks administrative support as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Possess and maintain knowledge of the facility, services provided,
the customers, and employees.
- Answer incoming calls, both internally and externally, in a warm,
pleasant and professional manner.
- Respond to all calls following proper telephone etiquette and
taking detailed messages when appropriate.
- Ensure that messages are relayed promptly to the intended person.
- Greet all visitors and employees in a warm and helpful manner.
- Ensure that the reception areas are clean, neat and inviting.
- Offer refreshments to visitors and make them feel welcomed and comfortable.
- Provide other assistance with facility services as requested by supervisor.
- Responsible for daily mail and bank deposits.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is preferred.
- One year receptionist experience preferred.
- Current TB skin test (if you do not have a current TB skin test,
you can get one administered at the facility on your start date)
- Proof of the Influenza Vaccination (if you do not have proof, you
can get one administered at the facility)
Physical Demands:
This position may require constant standing/walking and repetitive
motions, frequent bending/stooping, reaching, lifting/handling,
pushing/pulling and occasional carrying. Weights may vary up to 10
pounds and the frequency of treatments may vary.
